Jacob Biderman, Lauder Chabad Campus, Vienna, Austria
Dear Ronald,
Jewish tradition teaches that a birthday is a day of reflection about our mission in this world. Clearly, you were designated to a meaningful historical mission. As you are reaching seventy, I am confident that you may be proud of your unbelievable achievements so far. You made a difference on a global scale! Your contribution to Jewish life in our generation, especially in the field of education, will imprint your name for ever in history. Still, our Torah sages teach us that one may never be content with what he had reached so far and should always strive for more – being that the soul which is a godly spark, has infinite power. In this sense, I wish you, to use the words of King David in Psalms, “May you go from strength to strength” accompanied by your dear family, in good health and happiness! With hearty best wishes, also on behalf of my wife Edla and the staff members in our kindergartens, schools, teachers’ Academy and University in Vienna – all proudly bearing your name. Yours,
