Budapest: Lauder Javne School Teaches Shabbat Services

Hungary’s Lauder Javne Jewish Community School hosted a visit from Israel’s Ambassador to Hungary, and Israelis presented Israel studies.

Other highlights at the school include its holding a Kabbalat Shabbat service for all primary school students, and participating in an exhibition on Jewish innovators in science and technology, a film festival and musical performance.

Notably, the Lauder Hungary e-Learning program celebrated its fourth year. A delegation from the school visited its sister-school in Istanbul, the Jewish Ulus Özel School.
