Shabbat education, creative exhibitions and multi-sport competitions mark Winter at the Lauder Javne Community School in Hungary.
The 10th Grade class scored First place in Hungary’s national Synchronized Skating Championship, as proud representatives of the Lauder Javne Jewish Community School.
Other recent highlights of the Budapest school include hosting the European Educator’s Conference, a Portuguese Exchange Student program, Senior Student Prom, firsthand meetings with homeless people to better understand their plights, educational sessions about minority rights and prejudice, a Chess competition, Math competition, Golem exhibition, and a Student-Parent Tanach Challenge.
