The Lauder Javne Jewish Community School concluded an energetic school year with performances, awards and success.
Ceremonies and special events crowned May and June, including performances by the Javne Theatre, KarMUN, Lauder Eye Magazine and the Middle School’s Tower of Babel participants.
In addition, the Lauder Javne Community School took First Place prizes in national academic competitions, sports events, Applied Arts, and the Hóbagoly (Snowy Owl) Cup.
Committed to continual innovation in education, the Lauder Javne school sent two staff teams to Berlin and London, to learn new pedagogic methods from successful programs, in conjunction with the 2015 Erasmus+ Mobility grant.
Shining film students from the Lauder Javne School won awards in the 2015 Centropa Film Making Competition, with remarkable presentations about family roots. At the same time, the Lauder Javne School hosted students from Poland, and strengthened their connections, as part of the school’s Z’man program.
