Budapest’s Lauder Javne Community School Celebrates 27 Years of Jewish Education

Hungary’s Lauder School provides Jewish education with creativity, commitment and professionalism.
The Elementary and Secondary Schools marked 27 years of successful growth and Jewish education in the Budapest school, whcih was established in 1990.
Recent school highlights include: A Charity collection to help a children’s hospice, Hebrew language competition, Mezuzah seminar, Tu B’shvat festival, and a Mosaic Day exploration of sailing, brain research, cooking and dancing.
In addition, Hungary’s first astronaut, Bertalan Farkas, visited the school and discussed his life experiences. The school’s First graders held a Math event, and students and teachers in the school’s Music School performed with others from visiting music schools, at the Lauder Javne Festival of Arts.
