960 Bulgarian Students

These are the numbers behind the school, one of the oldest in Bulgaria. School #134 “Dimtcho Debelyanov” is a state school, but unique because the school proudly teaches Hebrew language as a centerpiece. Graduates demonstrate a command of the language with the receipt of an official document.
The curriculum of the first class includes Hebrew as a first language. From 3rd grade, the second language is English. CBT also delivers classes in Information Technology. Admission after 7th grade meets requirements for Regulation 11. In high school, there are three profiles – Foreign Language, Technology – IT and Technology – Digital Design and Media.

Already for the past five years in Bulgaria, at the end of the elementary school, all the students have a national written tests in 4 subjects – Bulgarian language and literature, mathematics, science and society. The works are checked by an independent teachers, appointed by the ministry of education.
Here is a picture of the school’s performing group HAVERIM who performed in the European parliament in Brussels with president Plevneliev and president Perez. Two weeks ago, the dance group OR HA HUHAVIM performed in Brussels as well. They are also invited to perform in Strasbourg in the autumn, together with Armenian and Turkish groups.
