ECL Language Center Established in Lauder Javne School, Budapest

The Lauder Javne School principal Gábor Horányi, along with the leaders of the Foreign Language Center of the University of Pécs and of ECL Hungary, announced that the Lauder Javne School of Budapest will begin offering ECL-certified language exams in Hebrew, Spanish and French in Spring 2014.
The ECL Consortium (European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages) is an association of institutions representing European languages. It provides unified, reliable and valid standards for the assessment of attained language knowledge for member states of the European Union and those of the candidate countries.

The Lauder Javne School ELIT (English Language and IT) year students are preparing for and taking Elementary Hebrew exams this year. In addition, teachers at the Lauder Javne School may participate in training courses and become ECL-accredited teachers and examiners.
