Hungary: Outstanding Jewish Values, Sports, Theater & Academic Achievement

Budapest’s Lauder Javne Jewish Community school students received over 90 awards for their high achievements.

Highlights of the month of May include a song competition performed on Israeli National Independence Day, success in an Italian student photography contest, mock debating sessions in the Children’s Rights Court, and a student-organized in-school restaurant.

Other notable events include a literary competition in English, Hebrew, Spanish, and Hungarian, a school trip to Italy, a Chess tournament, Math competition, and Gymnastics and Music successes.
