JDC-Lauder Youth Camp in Szarvas

One of the projects we are proud to support is the Szarvas Summer Camp in Hungary that is led by the JDC.

Young Jewish people from all around the world are gathering together to learn about the Jewish culture and tradition in depth, with an extra amount of fun involved in this unique and unforgettable experience.

Gathering at Szarvas, the program offer a variety of compounding activities such as: sports, pool, art activities, Jew-Seum, performing, singing, learning about Jewish culture through communication tools, Bibliodrama (while imagining themselves as biblical characters), learning about Jewish education and its values as part of Jewish life and history, welcoming Shabbat and its ending with Havdalah by the river. The participants learn to braid Chalot, sing Shabbat songs and learn about Jewish holidays.
