Twelve boys and girls from cities throughout Germany came together for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Israel, with the Lauder e-Learning School of Germany.
Over the past year, students attended Bat/Bar-Mizvah classes online at the Lauder e-Learning School. After successfully completing their courses, the students traveled to Israel with their teachers, becoming “Bnei Mitzvot.” The incredible trip included Shabbat in Jerusalem, educational tours about the history of Jerusalem, and the apex — each student celebrating his/her Bar/Bat Mitzvah at the Kotel (Western Wall). Other highlights include swimming in the Dead Sea, hiking Masada, and Chesed activities with Pantry Packers.
According to students, the best part of the experience was the feeling of belonging to each other, to the land of Israel and to the Jewish people.
