New Young German Rabbis

Berlin’s Rabbinical Seminary trains Orthodox Rabbis who then serve in Germany’s communities. The students of the Rabbinical Seminary in Berlin undergo a parallel bachelor of social work at the University of Erfurt.
The Rabbinical Seminary in Berlin serves as successor to the legendary Hildesheimer’schen Rabbinical Seminary in Berlin.
The institute is of outstanding historical and symbolic significance. The Rabbinical Seminary in Berlin was — until its closure by the Nazis in 1938 — the main teaching facility for the training of Orthodox rabbis in Germany.
In the spirit of their founder, Rabbi Dr. Ezriel Hildesheim, leads the institution and its students, in both content and values of traditional Judaism, as well as instilling the skills needed for effective teaching. Learn more about the Rabbinical Seminary of Berlin.
