Poland’s Lauder e-Learning School Hosts A Fantastic Weekend Shabaton
In the Kazimierz Jewish Quarter in Krakow, parents, students and teachers of the acclaimed Ronald S. Lauder e-Learning School in Poland enjoyed a weekend-long event, hosted by the e-Learning school.
Over sixty participants from all over Poland gathered to attend the activity-packed weekend, in coordination with the Local Jewish Community Center.
Over Shabbat, the group bonded at meaningful prayer services at the Kupa Synagogue, warm Jewish Shabbat banquets, walking tours of the historic city, lectures for adults and fun activities for children. On Saturday night, e-Learning School teachers presented awards to their dear students, in recognition of the students’ diligence and efforts.
Several months earlier, some of the e-Learning students participated in a photo competition organized by the Lauder-Morasha School in Warsaw and the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
At the Shabbaton’s Saturday night event, the student photo exhibition was again presented, and awards were given to those students who were unable to attend the original event at the Museum.
Wrapping up the weekend, the Ronald S. Lauder e-Learning School families enjoyed a Klezmer concert by local musicians. All in all, the weekend concluded with a recharged enthusiasm for the e-Learning school and its successes.
