Purim, Jewish Theater, Art & Painting in Lauder Hungary

Hungary’s Jewish school — the Lauder Javne Jewish Community School — enjoyed a month filled with creativity, Jewish celebration and artistic expression.

In its latest March edition, the school newsletter covers a Purim Ball, the Merchant of Venice in theater, a Jewish cooking demo, fine arts painting awards, a math competition, football victory, and chess tournament.

In addition, the Lauder Javne school in Budapest hosted a group of visiting students from a sister school in Istanbul, and enjoyed tours which included Hungary’s Jewish Quarter.
